We’re sure you’re aware that our oceans are drowning in plastic - our packaging partners, Better Packaging Co., are doing something about it! They are rescuing plastic pollution that is mostly likely to end up in our oceans and recycling it into POLLAST!C™ instead. How cool is that?!
We’re really excited by the amount of impact we can make by this switch to mailing satchels made from 100% ocean bound plastic pollution collected from coastal communities throughout Southeast Asia.
We’re 100% committed to a plastic free environment/future and know the best way to get there is to stop making more plastic and instead clean up the mess we’ve already made! That’s exactly what our new packaging does. POLLAST!C™ packaging is made from 100% ocean bound plastic pollution collected from coastal communities throughout Southeast Asia.
Production of ØPACK mailers is solar-powered and uses no water, acids or bleaches. Any carbon emission from this already low energy production process is also offset. ØPACK envelopes are made mostly from limestone quarry waste and a small amount of recycled HDPE resin making it 'zero waste' because all off-cuts can be put 'back in to the pot' and recycled.
